PIPPA GREENWOOD has been a regular presenter on BBC2's 'Gardeners' World' since 1989, dealing authoritatively with questi*** of garden pests and diseases, science and gardening. She trained as a botanist and ran the Plant Pathology Department of the RHS's Garden at Wisley in Surrey, where she answered several thousand queries from gardeners every year. She is also a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4's 'Gardeners' Question Time'. In 2002 she presented the third series of her own programme 'Growing Science' on Radio 4. Pippa has appeared on many television and radio programmes including 'Tomorrow's World', 'You and Yours', 'Woman's Hour','This Morning', '***TV' and 'Grass Roots'. She was a judge for the BBC Gardener of the Year 2001 competition.

Pippa writes for BBC Gardeners' World Magazine, Amateur Gardening and Garden Answers and is the gardening columnist for the Mirror. She is the author of many books including the bestsellers, New Gardener (over one million copies sold) and Gardening Hints and Tips, Garden Pests and Diseases,Garden Problem Solver, Flower Gardener and Pippa's Organic Kitchen Garden.
